They did it again! NBA Brawl at MSG!

The NBA might as well rename themselves the UFC--Ultimate Fighting Championship.  It's been just over 2 years since that embarrassing incident in Detroit, where after a hard foul by ex-Pacer Ron Artest on ex-Piston Ben Wallace, tempers errupted and all hell broke loose.  Indiana players charged into the stands fighting with fans, while others remained on the court to scuffle with the Detroit players.  All in all, a number of players from both sides were suspended, with the initiator Ron Artest getting banned from the NBA for the rest of that season.  It was definitely an embarrassing night for the NBA, and in response, the commissioner issued a zero-tolerance policy to prevent future mishaps.

A few hours ago, they did it again.  In the final minute of a blowout loss at the Madison Square Gardens in New York, Knicks guard Mardy Collins took exception to the fact that all five Denver starters were still on the court "embarrassing" his team, and committed a hard flagarant foul on Nuggets guard J.R. Smith as he was on a breakaway.  All 10 players on the court got involved and the benches cleared, but fortunately no fans were involved.  The result:  all 10 players on the court were ejected and suspensions will definitely be handed down to the main culprits (Collins, Robinson, Jeffries for the Knicks, and Anthony, Smith, Miller for the Nuggets).  Stay tuned for the league announcement.

Note:  'Melo is such a pussy.  He pops Mardy Collins in the face then runs away.  At least when Jermaine O'Neal sucker punched that fan 2 years ago, he stayed to take on about 10 more fans immediately after the punch!  Boooooo Carmelo!!

Dear Santa,

A couple of months before Christmas last year, I lost my car.  So for Christmas,
I asked you for a new one, but maybe you got my present mixed up with someone
else, because I ended up with a set of mugs, similar to this:

This year, I figure that if I ask you for something small, you'll bring me something
HUGE!!  So Santa, this year, please bring me a professional grade, lightweight,
stainless steel fry pan, possibly made by Paderno or All Clad.  And if you have no
idea what I'm talking about, maybe a picture would help:

And Santa, if you think you're gonna forget again, that's ok too.  Just pack one of
these in your sleigh, and if you really forget what I asked for, this will do just fine!
But don't forget the $2800 'Panorama vario-roof' option, or I'm gonna have to send it
back.  I wanna look at the stars at night while I'm on the road!!

Thanks Santa!
Zion

P.S.  I'm going to need a fully paid, full coverage auto insurance policy as well!  Thanks!

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

Hate to rip this guy even more, but this is proof that college and university educations just aren't what they used to be...

Johnny Cash

I know it's retarded to base important real-life decisions on a song, but why do some lyrics really shout out to me?

I feel like Johnny Cash around the halfway point of the movie--except I don't have the guitar skills or celebrity status that he did.  Nor did I have his cure for everything (drugs).  Haha, in short, I had nothing that he had, except I feel what he was feelin'.

Check out Johnny Cash.  He's a country singer and passed away a few years ago, but if you saw that movie last year "Walk The Line", you'll know what I'm talkin' about.  That June Carter (Reese Witherspoon)...woah nelly!!

Hallelujahz

No, it's not a typo.  We're the Hallelu-JAHZ, not the Hallelu-YAHS.  Don't get that wrong again.

In the spirit of publicly releasing TVB Station 17 productions, here's another one.  The band is a TVB Station 17 spin-off, called the Hallelujahz (Roncholas, Xay, and Zedison).  We preformed once for Iason (Ian) at one of his Waterloo birthdays.  Here, we're performing our self-entitled hit single, "Hallelujahz", live at WOCH in front of a full house in early 2006.

I apologize for the quality...took the entire video with my cell phone, so don't expect too much.

And if you really want to, you can sing along here.

Without further ado...

Hallelujahz - "Hallelujahz"
